  • 115 Schuyler ST Boonville N.Y, 18 April 48 Dear Leonard & Frances:- After much delay and postponement of intentions I finally got the box of butternuts tied up and shipped. They should have reached you long before this - but I thought best to let you know they were on their way in case something went wrong on the delivery. Should you wish to share them with George it would be OK, next season I’ll try to get more. They grow in the valleys near Boonville and if the season is favorable it is not too difficult to get a supply. We had a nice visit one Sunday with Barbara Ann & we hope that she can get this way again over the week end, but she seems to have a busy schedule which involves her on Saturdays (but perhaps that was due to the Basketball games & trips).
