  • FRIENDSHIP To have your own way or not to have That is the question To use or not to use Another intelligent suggestion Whether it is nobler To be always in the right Or maybe to be in the wrong sometimes To prevent your being in a fight To act in a manner you've always acted Without thinking about the others Or to act in another way So as not to offend your brothers. Don't try to run over people With a funny remark or a sarcastic jest Don't let people run over you With the idea that their solution is always the best. But at the same time don't ever think That your solution is just as good Try looking at both solutions; a compromise That's the secret of brotherhood. Try to laugh and think of the fun you have Without giving too much service of the lip And you'll never have to keep wondering The meaning of the word....FRIENDSHIP. Valerie R. Howell I run through this jungle unaware— Of those who don't give a damn; those who don't care. I go from place to place seeking a friend— But instead I find the ones who push me down in the end. Why oh why, did no one inform me— Of what trying to live in this world would be? Marvena Connelly
