But I am sure the C’s will Feel differently as time goes on. If I have not earned their love, respect is due me + that I have not had. Sally was most impudent, but had the C’s hypnotized, so if I tried to say a word, was shut up. So I shut up, withdrew into myself + ignored my surroundings so far as possible. I did not mean to burden you with my woes to such an extent, but I am so hurt, it has seemed to get out. Will send it along as it won’t really do you any harm. Lovingly Mama July 9, 1929
