Manufacturers Distributors Exporters eastern sales offices 1127 FIRST NATIONAL BANK BUILDING CHICAGO, ILLINOIS Fruits and Vegetables, RE: Mr. Horaee Kephart, Bryson City, if. Car. Dear Sir:- Jan. 2, 1980. We regret to inform you we will be unable to make shipment of the Peaches on your recent coupon order and are, therefore, returning herewith stamps to the amount of 35r/ to cover that part of your remittance. At the time shipment of the balance of your order was made we had exhausted our shipping stocks here in Chicago of this item, and back-ordered same, expecting to ship later when we had received additional supplies from our plants in Oregon; meantime, however, the large wholesale grocers throughout the country discovered the quality of our Peaches and began placing large orders, with the result that in a short time the entire carton pack for 1919 was oversold - hence the refund of your money. While you are thinking on the subject of dehydration,- fresh fruits and vegetables with only the water removed,- foods which contain all their original flavor and health-building elements, we would call your attention to our other products of which we are in a position to make prompt shipment. Have you ever had the pleasure of trying a dehydrated Prune? Our Prunes are different from anything you have ever had in this line. Packed in dust-and-germ-proof, individual, pound packages, selling at 50<Z^ they are for flavor and general excellence, without an equal. Doctors recommend Prunes, especially Oregon Prunes, therefore we suggest you return to us 50jzf in stamps, with your full name and address, and take this opportunity of testing for yourself the real delicacy of a dehydrated Prune. Thanking you for your patronage and awaiting your reply, we are Very truly yours, KING'S POOD PRODUCTS COMPANY. LCL- Sales Dept.
