It is earnestly hoped that each 9j^tjp-ese reports will be carefully read and that the members of the National CouflSYX will come to the meeting prepared tp^ask questions and develop such further information as will be helpful to a clear understanding of conditions as thsy actually are, and so as to make it possible for us to plan our work for the coming year on effective lines. Attention is especially invited to the very unusual and gratifying reports of the Chairman of the Finance Committee and Treasurer. May I stre^ the ^importance of each chartered council being ajjpresb.hed at the Annual Meeting March 29th and 30th by a duly-appointed layman^ ^Pcase the representative elected cannot attend, an alternate should bo selected and proper notice sent to the National Council. The Headquarters of the meeting will be the LaSalle Hotel, Chicago. If you have not made your reservation for the Birthday Dinner on the evening of March 29th, please do so without delay, addressing your letter to Mr. Howard F Gillette, Chairman, Reception and Dinner Committee, c/o J.
