  • to sing all the hiking and folk songs we know and we'll sing 'em to the mountain peaks! There may be a reading or two as well as some special numbers, so "practice up", for this "sing" must be a huge success. In the wee hours of the morn, probably two o'clock, when our voices are tired and our feet restless again, we will take a little hike to one of those peaks that we have been singing to. "Whatta" you say? Are you game? And just before the gray of dawn appears we will return and snuggle into nice warm blankets for a snooze. With slumber land now the only place to go, you are soon lost in the land of Morpheus for the next several hours. No one expects to get up until nine or maybe ten, for it is Sunday and plenty of time to rest before old "blue Monday." (Note—At this writing, the exact place is not decided, so hiking distance, costs, etc., will be announced by cards at the proper time.) Leaders: JIM THOMPSON (2-2153) THERESA HICKMAN (2-3663) "Perhaps, since night is Hearing, I'd rather rest than roam." "I knew you would," said Little Road. "That's why I brought you home." "Magpie Lane"—Nancy Byrd Turner 51
