  • Mentally and spiritually I am not nearly as good as I ought to be. It is such a pleasure to always remember you and yours in my prayers. I feel that God has done some wonderful things for Mr. Slagle in the improvement of his health. I am so anxious for dear “Dick” to study pharmaceutical botany, I believe he has a natural knack for it and could do wonderful things in that direction along with his food chemistry. I believe you, with your strong spiritual powers, could do much in the way of healing; your knowledge of the proper preparation of food
