My dear Mrs. Slagle: - On writing your letter I was interrupted so much that I forgot to say, that I do not, or try not to neglect or think less of my own nationality, I love them and do what I can for them cheerfully. As you know interested in complexion or nationality. I love dear “Dick” for himself, as a dear, sweet, wholesome boy, with quite an unusual mind, a creative one, a mind that I beleive God has selected to emphasize ^some of His glory, majesty and power. This is why I have always had the dear boy
