Killed an Indian who was getting away with Miss Weber by its owner Christian Kauffman in Berne Township Nestles Co. Pa. The Rifling is splendid and it shoots beautiful its history is most heresay it is authentic. Rifle must have been made not later than 1770. It has changed hands but 3 times since was a priceless treasure in the Kauffman family until 1904 when James Bohen, a grandson of Kauffman died. The Rend Isaac Herbein (a neighbor) bought it at
