A new tennis ball hustling over the net for an ace. The flight of a javelin through the air. These are just a few of the athletic activities being planned for the coming spring. Coach Plemmons expects to have a good baseball team as he has some real high s:hool talent to pick from. The tennis courts are to be reconditioned as soon as the weather permits, and plans are underway for a tennis tournament to be held both for the boys and girls and probably the faculty. Coach Plemmons is planning to have a track team to compete in college circles, not to mention croquet, Caroms, and athletic dancing, before meals, that require no coaching. Coach Plemmons with Miss Benton, has already purchased equipment for the various athletic teams, and prospects for something besides the usual sports of spring are bright. Mr. and Mrs. C. H.
