Yodelers Holding Winning Record Since the last issue of the Yodel, Cullowhee cagcrs have been making a splendid showing in the basket ball On Monday night, January 14, the strong Young Harris College five from Georgia invaded her neighbor state and came out on the short end of a 35 to 33 score at the hands of the Yodelers after a stubborn fight. It was one of the fastest and cleanest played games ever to be seen on the local court. The game was a close battle from the first sound of the whistle. At no time during the game did either team hold over a four point lead. The Young Harris lads could pass, dribble and .shoot with amazing accuracy, but they could not overcome the Yodelers who possessed the same type of ability. With only thirty seconds to play and the score tied 33-33, Rogers made a pretty side shot which gave the Yodelers their two point margin. Watson for the winner with 17 points and Burt for the losers with 19 points were high scorers for the night, but every player on both teams proved his worth and deserve special honor for the splendid type of playing exhibited.
