it seems just like home to me, too. Terrell is always so glad to get letters from you folks. In this letter of April 1, 1909, Alice (Clara Alice McGuire Bird) writes to her sister-in-law Minnie Bird (later McLaughlin) about life in Los Angeles, California. Mrs. Bird describes shopping, warm weather, and clothing. She advises Minnie to attend commencement and visit her in the future. Alice married Minnie's brother James Terrell Bird in 1907.
