Officers:arrested-a:male non-student who had been banned from: campus last night for harassing his former girlfriend. Involuntary commitment papers were issued because of the suspects emotional state. 12:00 P.M. A male student reported that he was being harassed by two females from Franklin. He told them to stop calling him. 3:15-P.M. Officers served warrants on a male non-student for failing to appear in court on charges of expired registration, operating a vehicle with no insurance and no operators license, when he came to pick up his car from campus after it was towed. 4:45 P.M, A.student reported that his bicycle was stolen from the lobby of Scott. Officers found another student with the bike in the Walker A lot. The student was a friend of the victim who had taken the bike as a joke. 10:45 P.M. A female student reported that she saw a gun on the ground at the picnic area. Officers investigating _ found three males leaving the womens restroom there. They found three BB guns on the ground. One had been used to.damage the inside of the restroom. Two. of the subjects. were arrested for weapons on campus. One was charged with damaging property. April 15, 2004: ey 12:43 A.M. Residential Living staff reported a female student had overdosed on alcohol in Walker. She was : transported to Harris Regional for treatment. Investigation continuing. : : PEOPLE BECAME IMORTALIZED April 13, 2004: ; IN CAMPUS POLICE FILES 5:00 P.M. A student reported that someone had cut the side window on his Jeep and stolen a copy of a DVD between OVER THE PAST TWO WEEKS: 2:00 P.M. and 4:50 P.M. Investigation continuing. April 14, 2004: Underage drinking. 12:39 A.M. Officers assisted a female student who was being stalked by a former boyfriend. Officers banned the male. from.campus.and.contacted counselors from campus.and from Smoky Mountain Mental Health when he repeatedly: threatened suicide. 3:45 A.M. Officers responded to a noise complaint on the 3rd floor of Walker and cited a male non-student and a : male student for underage possession of alcohol. Driving with a revoked license in the wrong lane. Getting tipsy while underage and then a little too noisy. What they cant hear wont hurt you. April 12, 2004: 10:30 A.M. Officers arrested a female student on two felony charges for financial card theft. The Sylva Police _ Department charged the student. with three misdemeanor charges.and. the. Jackson. County. A student was charged with felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. He is being.held.in the Jackson County jail.on a $4,000. secured bond. Purchasing items on campus with April 3, 2004: counterfeit bills. : 9:40 A.M. A student was. arrested for passing counterfeit bills. He is being held in the Jackson County. Officers found an _ intoxicated person. who refused to identify. himself. Officers identified the person from his drivers license. The person, a non-student, then told officers he would not cause any more problems. Officers allowed him to go to - sleep in the backseat of his car.
