MMA has been prohibited for sale to the Nail Industry by the FDA as poisonous and deleterious. It has also been banned for use in nail operations by 32 State Cosmetic Boards including the North Carolina State Cosmetic Arts Board. The Following Symptoms and Conditions can be Caused by MMA! 1. Blood Poisoning 2. Neuropathy of the Extremities (numbness) 3. Lung Damage 4. Fetal Death of Defects 5. Acute Eye, Skin, & Mucous Membrane Irritation 6.
