Tate, a 6 ft. 1 inch, 222 pound sophomore noseguard from Statesville, N.C, was a bright spot during the Cat's 31-13 loss to Eastern Kentucky. Tate had just been moved from linebacker, going into the season opener, and adjusted very well to his new position. If his performance is any indication of what we will be seeing ance. "He was very active and that was encouraging to me and my staff," Strahm said. Congratulations to Marlin Tate on a great effort against Eastern Kentucky.
