Western Carolinian/February 10, 1983 5 News Briefs All students planning to enter the Western Carolina University upper-division nursing major in August, 1983 are again reminded that applications to the department ot nursing for admisssion must be returned by February 15. The Western Carolinian is Western Carolina University's student-run newspaper. The paper was published as the Cullowhee Yodel from 1924 to 1931 before changing its name to The Western Carolinian in 1933.
