Thursday for Good Cheap Mexican Food Workshop Invite The Jackson County Sheltered Workshop, located in Webster, invites WCU students to contact them in regard to practicum and hands-on experience. The Workshop is a non-profit organization working with the physically and mentally handicapped. The Sheltered Workshop offers a variety of areas in which students may earn necessary experience leading to fulfillment of a degree program. Agencies the Sheltered Workshop is affiliated with include Vocational Rehabilitation and the Smoky Mountain Area Mental Health. If you are a student looking to complete your degree program and seeking a place close to the campus to gain necessary experience call 586-8981 between the hours of 8 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday. Volleyball Try-outs Men's varsity volleyball try-outs are going on now and will last until January 29. Coach Richard Jenkins says turnouts for the try-outs have been rather slack as of lately, and encourages all men interested in volleyball and in earning a varsity letter to attend the next try-out at 1:30 p.m. daily in Breese gym.
