Western Carolina will climax its spring football drills in preparation for the 1978 season tonight with the annual Purple-White Spring Game. Kickoff time for the intrasquad scrimmage will be 7:30 p.m. at E.J. Whitmire Stadium and the game is open to the public free of charge. Instead of pitting the offensive and defensive units against each other, WCU's coaching staff will hold a player draft to decide the two squads and will have honorary coaches from the university administration at the helms.
