Margaret Spilker Day March 1 March 1 has been designated Margaret Spilker Day and will culminate a fund-raising effort by the Shepherd of the Hills I uthcran ( hurch and a special committee composed ol friends of Margaret Spilker. Margaret was injured in an automobile accident on September 30. I1'77. in Jackson county, and as a result of that accident, Margaret is paralv/ed from the neck dun n. except for slight movement in her right at m Margaret will be returning home soon, and she will need several items of special equipment. One of the major needs is a specially equipped van for transportation. Vocational Rehabilitation, while providing certain other equipment, cannot help »ith this major net d. ihe Pnysicai Education Club is vitally interested in raising funds for the project. One March 1. they will sponsor a car wash at Hardee's from II a.m. to 5 p.m. II students w ish to make an individual contribution, club members will be located in the dorm lobbies on Feb. 27 and 2h from 6 p.m. lo l) p.m.. and at the University Center on Feb. 28 from l> a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition, the Physical Education Club has mailed letters to each club and organization on campus requesting their help in raising funds for the project.
