Wilson was declared ineligible by the NCAA Eligibility Committee alter an investigation into Wt I s program which concluded early this fall with WCU being placed on one year of probation. "We don't believe this is a fair ruling.'' said Western Athletic Director Boh Waters. "It is unfair because of the circumstances and the significance of the infractions involving Bubba. He was unaware al the time that his actions were violations." Waters said. Wilson was not able to play against either Campbell lucsdav night, or C'arson-Newman, which plays in Culllowhee tonight.
