G. Vassian, Room 333- 335, Stillwell Building.' Current and prospective members of the team should meet 3 pm at the upper tennis courts on Wed., Sept, 27. CATAMOUNT PHOTOS Any organization including cheerleaders, majorettes, the band etc. who would like to have their picture in the Catamount must contact David Harb (phone 293-7388 Reynolds 341) between October 3 and November 20. Absolutely no pictures will be taken after this date! YOUNG REPUBLICANS There will be a meeting of the Young Republicans Club tonight, Tuesday, September 26, in Room 118, McKee, at 6:00 p.m. All Young Republicans, Nixon supporters, and alienated Democrats are urged to attend. ALPHA KAPPA PSI SMOKER The brothers of Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity will have their fall smoker on Wed., Sept. 27 at I 7:30 in room 320 Forsyth. STUDENT JOBS Glenn Hardesty, WCU Aids Officer, reminds students to register in the Student Aid Office in Scott Hall for part- time jobs. HIKING CLUB MEETS The Western Carolina Hiking Club will hold an organizational meeting this Thursday, September 28, in Stillwell, room 211. Plans for the next hike will be discussed. Everyone is invited to attend. The Hiking Club will also hold a day hike in the Smokies this coming Saturday. We will leave from the Baptist Church at 8:30 Saturday morning. Everyone is invited. TRACK MEETING Track coach Paul Jones invites all prospective WCU track team members (old and new) to attend a meeting in room 22 of Reid Gymnasium, at 7:30 pm, Wed., Sept. 27. BSUL MEETS T0NITE There will be a Black Students United for Liberation meeting Tuesday night, September 26, 1972, at 7:30 in the Cherokee Room of the University Center. The University Center Board is sponsoring an Activities Fair in the University Center Grand Room on Wednesday, September 27th from 3:00 pm until 9:00pm. Thirty campus clubs and organizations will have representatives, displays, and demonstrations. Other orgainzations such as BSUL will have a film presentation. The Gymnastics Club and Ski Club plan to have demonstrations. This is an opportunity for the students of WCU to learn about campus organizations. Students can talk to the club members and the clubs can get to know the students. AU students are invited but a special invitation is extended to all Freshmen and transfer students. There is no admission charge. Refreshments will be provided compliments of the University Center Board. Door prizes will be awarded at the Fair. One prize will be steak dinners for two at the Canterbury Inn. There will also free dinners at the Cullowhee Cafe given away to lucky people. Film Festival that has no date set. In addition to those events already scheduled various other ideas are being tossed around among the committees fortheir judicious consideration. Some of these suggestions include: A Rod Serling Festival, Mountain Folk Festival, Flash Forums (Current Events), a program on Women's Lib, an Oldies - Goldies weekend, and an Art contest for high school students.
