Robertson, 5-foot-10, 195 pound halfback, gained 1480 yards, averaged 9.6 yards a carry and scored 22 touchdowns last season to lead Lower Richland High to a 10-2 record. Y-P FROM Page 1 would visit the dormitories periodically for student reactions, suggestions and gripes. He stated that his office would arrange investigations of so- called violations of students' rights when need be. Finally Scarce stated that recommendations would be made jn the tenure policy and curriculum to Dr. Alex Pow and W. Newton Turner respectively. Felsberg's platform also is concerned with the protection of student rights. Felsberg stated, "I want to see that all students' rights are protected and that no individual group infringes upon the rights of other sludents, but at the same time to insure that all students have the right of peaceful protest." Felsberg also wants to "help matte the Student Senate a working organization that does not get bogged down in paril- mentary procedure," and "give the UCB control of all entertainment so that the entertainment will be controlled by the students rather than the faculty." Other points in Felsberg's platform are: to work to eliminate the traffic jam in front of the Post Office; to acquire more parking facilities within a reasonable walking distance of campus; and to give the students a voice in where the new Post Office will be built so that it will not be constructed in an extreme end of campus. Collins stated his campaign in one sentence: "Your concerns are our business and our only reason for existance." His platform is made up of the following points: Reorganization of Senate committees. One judicial court with attorney general and defense attorney for all cases to eliminate present inefficiencies. Women's hours be eliminated except for first and second quarter freshmea Professional course evaluations be started. Research on the infirmary and present ambulance service be investigated, Riom inspections be made monthly. Washers and driers be placed in dorms. New athletic facilities and hours be made available. Investigation of parking and system of ticket issuance. Collins finished the Interview by saying, "The Senate should and must bring about action for all student concerns and the administration must be truly responsive." Don Addis was on tour with the band when this interview was made, but his campaign manager said that the main aim of Addis' platform was to Invoke campus leaders to take a stand In what they believe in and support that stand. He also said that Addis wants to express a more progressive image for the school. VOTING IS THURSDAY, APRIL 16.
