Mrs. Mcintosh of Waynesville, spent several days here last week visiting her husband, Dr. Mcintosh of the Champion Drug Co. Mrs. Sallie Williams returned Thursday from Henry, N. C, at which place she has been visiting her sister for the past few months. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Shope of Hendersonville and brother, G. W. Davis of Asheville, visited relatives on the Dutch Cove Road last week. J. T. Bailey and Clyde Hildebrand motored to Asheville last Friday night and listened masterly address by the grand master of North Carolina Masons. W. F, P. McGee of Cruso, was in town Tuesday. Mr. McGee says he has been "living high having mountain trout whenever he wanted it since he moved to Cruso. Oak Leaf Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, will hold,a meeting this evening at which it is expected to confer the beautiful degrees of the order on two candidates. t j John Rhodarmer, lately of the U. S.N., has received an honorable discharge, arriving home Friday. He will soon resume his former position as assistant cashier in the Champion Bank.
