  • Commission to be Known as the "TENNESSEE GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS PARK COMMISSION"; and to Vest in Said Commission Full Power to Acquire by Gift, Purchase, or by the Exercise of the Power of Eminent Domain or Otherwise, Lands for the Purpose of Establishing and Maintaining a National Park Under the Provisions of the Act of Congress Approved May 22, 1926, Entitled "An Act to Provide for the Establishment of the Shenandoah National Park in the State of Virginia, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in the States of North Carolina and Tennessee, and for Other Purposes." And Also to Vest Said Commission with the Power to Convey to the United States of America for the Purposes Set Forth in Said Act of Congress AH Lands so Acquired by it; and to Authorize the Issuance by the State of $1,500,000 of Bonds, the Funds Derived Therefrom to be Used by Said Commission in the Acquisition of Lands for Said Park Purposes. And to Set Apart After January 1st, 1932, One- Tenth of One Cent per Gallon of the Gasoline Tax for the Payment of Said Bonds and Interest; and to Vest in Said Commission Created Hereby the Title as Trustee for the State to All Ungranted Lands Lying in Blount, Sevier and Cocke Counties, and to Authorize Said Commission to Reclaim the Same by Suit, or Otherwise, and to Make Disposition of the Legal Titles Thereto". WHEREAS, The Congress of the Unite States has passed an Act, approved May 22, 1926, and entitled "An Act to provide for the establishment of the Shenandoah National Park in the State of Virginia, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in the States of North Carolina and Tennessee, and for other purposes," which Act is in the following words and figures: "BE IT ENACTED BY THE SENATE AND HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN CONGRESS ASSEMBLED, That when title to lands within the acres hereinafter referred to shall have been vested in the United States in fee simple there shall be, and are hereby, established, dedicated, and set
