  • You know life gets kind of rought sometimes but it's good for our souls, Because it takes hardships to make us work harder for our goals. Sure the sun may not be shining everyday, But in due time, dark clouds will roll away. Then too, if we had all we needed we'd forget about the Lord, And doing this is risky, it's something we cannot afford. You see, he can do without us — but without Him, there is nothing we can do, So it is best that we trust, depend and lean on Him, then He will see us through. Colored Folks Heaven To enter the gate Of pearly white Where birds sing All day because There is no night To reach the land Of milk and honey Where everyday is Clear and bright To walk the land Where every heart Is pure because Nothing evil can Enter through To see the Savior Everyday And mingle with Spirits whose hearts Are always gay Colored folks heaven Is up above the clouds Where man cannot Overthrow The beautiful city of God.
