  • My esteemed friend Mrs. Slagle: - 4 – 14 – 26. How refreshing to get your good letter, for several days I have been thinking of you more than usual, Was going to send you just a little note of greeting when lo your fine letter came. The Carver Products Co. tell me they are making progress, but I cannot discuss anything they have done more than that of spending money, they have several thousand dollars invested in it already, which gives me hope that they will not let it fall through. Another company has organized, as per in clared circular that promises to get on its feet more quickly than the Products Co. to *** the paint. Personally, I was more anxious for the paint company to start, so that I could have our dear boy near me. The situation is puzzleing and if we loose sight of the fact that God still lives I would get discouraged, especially
