Dear Sir: I did aot understand that I was to act as Chairman of Committee of Memorials and Peititions, and I think entire Committee understood that you were to act in that capacity, which I hope you will do. I have considerable more on hand that one man ought i*e»* to even try to do, but will endeavor to attend meetings you call.
