  • The four-page brochure, "White Oak Rib Basketry by the Taylor Family" was produced in conjunction with an exhibition of baskets by Taylor family at Qualla Arts and Crafts Mutual, Inc. in Cherokee, North Carolina. Julia Ann Ned Taylor (1902-1991) and her four daughters, Rachel Taylor (b. 1921, Sally Taylor Wade (1924-1988), Pauline Taylor Junaluska (b.1928), and Dolly Taylor (b.1938) were members of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians. An exhibit of their work was held in 1978, from May 15 through June 10. Sponsored, in part by the Indian Arts and Crafts Board, the series of exhibit brochures were reprinted and bound together in 1987 as "Contemporary Artists and Craftsmen of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians: Promotional Exhibits, 1969-1985" by Mollie Blankenship and Stephen Richmond.
