Mardi Gras Night takes place in the University Center, and features something for everyone. Cajun-style food and a dance floor will attract the convivial among WCU students. Lil' Brian and the Zydeco Travelers will have the ideal venue for their cajun music. The coffeehouse boasts WCU English professor April Lewandowski, a well-regarded singer/songwriter in her own right. Also developing a name is Leigh Hilger, with her own acoustic approach to performing music. If there still is not enough strumming and humming, local student act Acoustasonic will close the set. Finally, the coffeehouse is designed for others to enjoy an open jam at the end. Unfortunately, this precludes electric instruments and amplifiers, in the tradition of MTV Unplugged. Earplugs are optional, and the event is $ 1 for students, $3 for all others. LHP Is Coming MLOWHEI icketsgoonSalej FeiJtiary 1,1999 call 7106 or 74 i ■ '•»%« Oteatarrra I lor more i
