The course will be non-credit and will meet one or two times a week, depending on the level of interest. If you are interested in learning the Cherokee language, please contact Dr. Karl Nicholas of the English department. His office is 204 in McKee. LOANS AND GRANTS All students who have not signed for National Direct Student Loan checks and grants must do so no later than Friday Feb. 28 in Byrd 118 or these will be cancelled. ALTERNATIVES TO PREGNANCY On Thursday, January 21, at 6:30 p.m. in 104 Belk, a representative of the Children's Home Society in Asheville will speak on the topic of "Alternatives to the Unwanted Pregnancy; Abortion, Adoption or Parenthood." The film, "I'm Seventeen and Pregnant" will be shown as part of the presentation. This will be third in the four part program on Human Sexuality which is being sponsored by Student Development. PSYCHOLOGY CLUB The Cecil W. Mann Psychology Club will meet on Wednesday, February 20, 1974 at 7:30 p.m. in Killian 104. An interesting program is being planned. Not only psychology majors and minors, but anyone who is interested is cordially invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.
