  • WESTERN CAROLINA UNIVERSITY CULLOWHEE, NORTH CAROLINA 28723 OFFICE OF THE CHANCELLOR TO THE 1976 BICENTENNIAL GRADUATES So often we hear the plea that education be meaningful, and we have endeavored to help you satisfy that objective during the brief time you have been with us. If we have succeeded, then you will be more likely to utilize your total capabilities and realize the potential of your abilities in the life which lies ahead. All of mankind needs such a performance from you, and we plead that you give each task undertaken and each moment lived your very best. The problems which this nation and the world face require this dedication and commitment, and I believe we will have from you a creditable performance. We look to you, our bicentennial graduates, for leadership in charting a successful course for our nation as it sets sail toward the 300th year. Best wishes in all of your endeavors, and return often to your University. Sincerely, H. F. Robinson Chancellor WESTERN CAROLINA UNIVERSITY 1S A CONSTITUENT INSTITUTION OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA / AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
