Lovin, Faculty Marshal Ruth Lindley, Chief Wally Culbertson, Chief Pam Isley Shirley Andrews Charles Chapman Carolyn Mundhenke Van Brown DANIEL JOSEPH BOORSTIN holds degrees from Harvard, Oxford (Rhodes Schol- ar), Yale, and Cambridge Universities. He taught at Harvard, Radcliffe, and Swarthmore before joining the history faculty at the University of Chicago in 1944. Professor Boorstin remained at Chicago until 1969 when he became Di- rector of the National Museum of History and Technology, Smithsonian Insti- tution in Washington, D. C. During his career, he has lectured at distinguished foreign universities in England, France, Italy, Japan, Turkey, Iran, Nepal, India, and Ceylon. Professor Boorstin has published widely in the field of American history. One of his recent publications is the popular textbook, The Americans: The National Experience (1965). es ey earn
