  • This is a brochure published by Western Carolina Teachers College promoting refresher courses for those whose high school training had been interrupted. The courses, intended to provide an opportunity to study or review high school work in English, History, Mathematics, and Science, could be taken at any pace. There was however a minimum attendance requirement for veterans claiming benefits under the G. I. Bill of Rights.
  • RESERVATION FOR ROOM Those desiring accommodation in the dormitory should send in a reservation fee to secure a room. This fee is $2 and is applied to the student's credit, upon registration, toward room and board. Rooms will be reserved in the order of reservation fees received. The College does not guarantee rooms after the dormitories have been filled, but will be glad to help students find suitable places in the community. EXPENSES Because of the type of individualized instruction required for refresher work, the tuition regularly charged will be increased to meet expenses. All other charges are the same as regularly made.
