  • This photograph of a man and woman standing next to a tree with hound dogs by their side is from film that was brought to Sherrill’s Studio for developing, but the prints were never picked up. The name written on the unclaimed envelope is Woodrow Rich. Woodrow Rich (1912-1981) is the son of Sabe Rich (1871-1965) and Ada Rich (1875-1971) Sherrill’s studio was founded by George Dexter Sherrill (1879–1931) in 1902 and was the first photography studio in Haywood County.
