This undated postcard is stamped 58398 --Pub. by Asheville Post Card Co., for Sylva Rod and Gun Club, Sylva, N. C. The company was founded in Asheville during the first decades of the 20th century by Lamar Campbell Le Compte, who ran the company until his death in 1977. At the time of its closing, the company inventory numbered into the millions.
