  • An air view of the Hamilton, Ohio, division of The Champion Paper and Fibre Company. An air view of the Houston, Texas, division of The Champion Paper and Fibre Company, (under construction, 1936) AT Hamilton, Ohio, is located the paper _/~\_ manufacturing and coating mills of the Champion organization. Fifty-eight acres of operating floor space—the largest single paper mill in the industry. The Champion mills, at Canton, North Carolina, are approximately the same size in area, and in addition to extract, produce four hundred tons of wood pulp for paper-making and three hundred tons of paper and board daily. A new addition to the Champion mills is the pulp mill at Houston, Texas, where additional tonnage of pulp is made. The size of the Champion organization assures its remaining a strong reliable source for the manufacture of the high quality Champion chestnut extracts. 35
