The women from Wolftown, from Big Cove, from all the communities, brought big baskets full of food. On Friday morning, they would begin cooking for food the Saturday ball game. We put a pallet on the ground for the food. Everyone ate during the game. In those days they really would engage (danatli'isgv 'engage in battle, ball game, clash' from fighting)! They'd hit each other on the heads.
