This letter from M.A. Peck, of Montreal, Canada, was received by Frances Goodrich, of Asheville, N.C., on January 18, 1937. Peck congratulates Goodrich on the success of Allanstand Cottage Industries which Goodrich founded (but was owned by the Southern Highland Handicraft Guild at the time of this letter). Peck also reports on the growth and success of her own Canadian Handicrafts Guild. The exchange of information and support of other craft organizations during the Craft Revival period helps to put activities in western North Carolina in context with the movement at large. Also included is a transcript of the letter.
