Item’s are ‘child’ level descriptions to ‘parent’ objects, (e.g. one page of a whole book).

This matted photograph was sent to Frances Goodrich from the Snavelys in Roanoke, Virginia, who shared Goodrich's interest in hand weaving. On the verso of the card is written: " - Dark blue - Red (wool) & white (cotton) - Very heavy - Wool spun & coverlet woven by Mrs. David Schnebley - Cambria County (near Johnstown) Pa. about the year - 1830. Property of Mr & Mrs J. C. Snavely, Roanoke Va. In first class condition today 11/22/17. Double weave coverlet." The photo was kept by Goodrich with other photographs of coverlet patterns. The name of the photographer is unknown.
