22 Western Carolinian September 14,1995 Sports i ■ 1 1 Intramural Activities • •Participant sign-ups for intramural run and stay it and swim and stay fit programs in office 13 Reid Gym. It operates until the deadline on Wednesday, April 20th. • Intramural fitness t- shirts are awarded to any faculty, staff, or students obtaining 300 miles in the Run and Stay Fit and 75 miles in the Swim and Stay Fit programs. •Tennis: Intramural women's tennis "singles" for sorority and independent occur on Monday, September 18th at 4:00pm on the lower tennis courts. •Badminton: Intramural Men's "singles" and "doubles" at 6:30pm on Reid Gym main floor. Activity stickers can be obtained at the Ramsey Center ticket office, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m to 5:00 P.M. Activity stickers are not available on the day of the game. Please bring your paid receipt as proof of your enrollment this semester. Valid activity stickers are required of all WCU students who want to attend football, men's and women's basketball, and baseball games in the coming year. Students who do not have the proper sticker on their IDs will not be admitted to the games. This policy is in effect to keep former students who possess ID cards but have not paid a student activity fee from attending games for free. Compliments of Sports Info. The Western Carolinian is Western Carolina University's student-run newspaper. The paper was published as the Cullowhee Yodel from 1924 to 1931 before changing its name to The Western Carolinian in 1933.
