Annual meeting of Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests. Mr. Allen Hollis presiding. TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15 8:30 A. M. Excursion through White Mountain National Forest. Drive to Zealand Forest Camp. Inspection of Gale River Experimental Forest. Drive through Franconia, Easton and Benton to view completed work at Long Pond. To Warren CCC Camp, where luncheon will be served. Drive over Woodstock-Warren Road (under construction) to North Woodstock and over Tripoli Road to Waterville Valley. To Campton Lake recreational development, recently opened to the public, where excursion will terminate. During the field trips members of the U. S. Forest Service will explain the purposes of the work which has been done and will outline the projects which they anticipate will be carried out in the next few months.
