ROBERT M. DOUGLAS, ATTORNEY AT LAW. Greensboro, N.C., June 1, 1889. J. W. Terrell, Esq. Webster, N.C. Dear Sir: You would coufer a favor upon me by giving me as accurate a statement as you can of all expenses paid by the Government or by the Indians in all the suits concerning their lands. You will remember you and Mr. Thos. D. Johnston gave me some figures in Asheville; but I failed to put them down. These figures will very much aid me in explaining the matter to the Department. Yours Truly, Robert Douglas
