  • REGULATIONS FOR REDUCED FARES TO CAMP PERRY, OHIO, September, 1-27, 1923. AMOUNT OF REDUCTION; One-half fare for return trip from Camp Perry to competitors' home, TO WHOM AVAILABLE; All individual members, accredited club representatives, members of teams and to their wives and children, including those traveling at half fare. FROM WHAT POINTS; From all points in the United States where the one way fare to Camp Perry, Ohio, is sixty-seven cents or more, except that in the case of California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington there are available summer excursion rates to Toledo, Ohio, which are lower than the fare and half are rates. Members going to Camp Perry from the four states named should purchase excursion tickets to Toledo and obtain the fare and half fare certificates in Toledo for the remainder of the journey to Camp Perry. HOW IT WORKS: Travelers will purchase the usual one way ticket to Camp Perry, obtaining from the Ticket Agent a fare and half fare certificate. Make SURE THAT YOU OBTAIN A FARE AND HALF FARE CERTIFICATE AND NOT MERELY A RECEIPT. Upon arrival at Camp Perry, present the certificate to the Secretary of the National Rifle Association who will hold it until 250 certificates have been turned in. He will then validate the certificates and turn them over to the Special Agent of the railroads, who will countersign them and return them to the competitor. This certificate will then be good'for one-half the regular return fare to your home. WHEN CERTIFICATES MAY BE OBTAINED: Tickets to Camp Perry must be purchased between August 29th and September 12th both dates inclusive in all states except Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Oklahoma and Texas, in which states tickets must be purchased between the dates of August 28th and September 11th. In the state of Arizona tickets must be purchased between August 27th and September 10th. The excursion tickets available from California, Nevada, and Washington may be purchased at any time up to and including September 15th.
