Description

"November 1929, subdivided and allotted by John G. Gillis, B.B. Rice, J.R. Reagan, Commissioners." Information for each tract of land includes: numbers of acres and name of allottee. "State of North Carolina, County of Buncombe. J.R. Reagan being duly sworn says, that the plat on which this certificate is endorsed is in all respects correct and was prepared from an actual survey made by affiant during the month of November 1929,... J.R. Reagan. Sworn to and subscribed before me this the 19th day of Dec. and thereupon it is adjudged that the plat on which this certificate is endorsed has been duly proven as required by the Statutes of North Carolina. Let the same with this certificate be required. J.B. Cain, Clerk Superior Court , Buncombe County."--Ink stamp. "Book 16, p. 23."--written in pencil in right lower margin. Oriented with north to the bottom.
