JEX Committee on Equipment & Tools 711 Florida Avenue, N. E. I am pleased to have your letter of May 16, 1930. Anderson tells me that he has received your reservation and I am. looking forward to meeting you. I have checked up the map of the Cherokee Territory by Philip Harry. f# intended to make for you a photostat of the northeast section of this map. There is no map for the area adjoining on the northeast corner. However, there is a chance that three inches of the eastern edge of the map were omitted. The roll is "bent at this place and your comment on "breaks in lettering" led us to think that in photostating this might have been left off by reason of being folded under the map. You can determine this by looking at your photostat; If Carolina is spelled out in full and if you find the words "St Fr—" near the eastern edge of the map you have it all. If it developes that this eastern edge was omitted from your photostat, the </ar Department will let us have this section. If I do not hear from you, I will know that your photostat included the portion which I thought might have been omitted. I trust that you will have.the records in the Southern Spruce Company vs. Sands litigation which I sent to Hoy to circulate. I mailed you a copy of the Baker deposition, a part of this litigation. Sincerely, Myron H. United States-Shipping Board, Washington, D»C.
