Turtletown N.C. Oct. the 17 - 85 Mr. Jas. Terril, Dear Sir: I write you this note for purpos of knowing the termes on which you will mak a deed to the land on which I live. I guess you remember the agreement that you and my husband made concerning a deed for this land, and he was to have met you at a certain time in Murphy, but failed on account of his health. You was to have made him a deed then, but he failed to see any more about it. I also want to know if you have found that note, if not it may have been lifted and lost with the other papers. Please write and let me know full particulars for I have all Postells business to attend to my self, for he is dead. Yours Respectly E. [C]. Postell P.S. Direct to Ducktown Polk Co. Tenn.
