Secretarv Wilson has requested our Association to prc- cure photographs of the forest and mountain lands wherein it is proposed to establish this reserve and Prof. Pinchot promised to have these photographs enlarged for use before the Committee of Congress. Hi have been unable tc comply with his request on account of the financial condition of the treasury. The press throughout the country have given articles upon our movement, while most of the important papers have had favorable editorials upon the same. Senator Pritchard has continued to use his influence and has recently written our President that he proposed to take up an active campaign as soon as Congress convenes. Your President, Mr. Powell, has been untiring in his efforts and for months has been in daily consultation with your Secretary upon current matters. As Secretary of your Association, T would suggest that your Committee on -"kiya and Means should be composed of more 0m- -tjliftCTffh from some one local point, as a quorum of this Committee can with great difficulty be gotten together under the present arrangement. In as much as this is one of the most important Committees of the Association the same should receive your mo| careful attention.
