Mary Sparks

Portrait of Sparks with her hammered dulcimer. “As a lover of music and lifelong musician, I finally found the truest voice of my soul and spirit in the hammered dulcimer. All the piano lessons, strumming the guitar, and banging on drums for forty or fifty years was the perfect preparation.” She came to Asheville in 2007 for the music scene and the “bohemian” elements.
