The movement has no w assumes such maginitude, siich an amount of literature is now necessary and so much money is required for defraying the expenses .of mailing the same that oar Association -must look for financial assistance outside of Asheville, Knowing your great in tersest in this movement and. realising that the interest and. assistance which. you have already rendered us nould Justify me in appealing to, you to approach the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce and if possible determine way we cannot secure their interest sufficiently to warrant their asking a Subscription to the cause, 1 am. this day sending you the copies of the letters enclosed. Please use your own judgement in approaching the Chamber of Commerce in regard to stating as to the receiving of the copies of these letters, 1 believe that the reason we have never heard from the Chamber of commerce is due to the fact that the Secretary has not brought the matter sufficiently before that body, a. little policy on the part Of some one in Knoxville who has the interest of the cause at heart would eertainly produce good resultS, Trusting to hear from yon, T am, very truly yours, Sec.»Treas,
