My dear Sir:- Prof. Holmes has sent me the following telegram to-day froa lichmond; "Send or have Ma;}. Rollins carry copies resolutions about Paris to Washington. Ask Mr. Howland write Senator Wetmore." (Signed) Holmes. We suppose from this that Mr. Holmes wished copies of fe the resolutions passed by North and South Carolina sent to Washington and for that reason are enclosing the same to you. It a general meeting of the Parle As SO elation held here in Asheville this morning the Secretary was instructed to write Senator Pritchard , Congressman Pearson and yr. Richards that it SPSS the sense of the meeting that the Park bill should he introduced as an awaendment to the Agriculture bill and that oa b winters wid Representatives be urged to use the utmost influence. toward getting the same through Congress at the present Session.
